rescue

The Italian “Emergency” organization has announced the rescue of 87 migrants who had set off from the coast of Zawiya.

The organization added that among the migrants are eight women, one of whom is pregnant, and 17 children, 14 of whom are unaccompanied, noting that they hold different African nationalities.

The organization explained that the boat was overcrowded, and water was seeping into it while the boat's tubes were deflated, pointing out that the health conditions of those rescued were good despite the difficult journey they faced.
