The final statement of the 29th Arab League Summit in the Saudi town of Dhahran has emphasized the importance of supporting the Libyan legitimate institutions, pointing out that the quadripartite dialogue hosted by the League of Arab States with the participation of the European Union, the African Union, and the United Nations, aims to end the crisis and preserve the cohesion of Libyan society.
The Arab leaders also reaffirmed their stand alongside the Libyan people in their efforts to eliminate “terrorist groups” that posed a threat to Libya and the neighbouring countries.
