The General Authority for Search and Identification of Missing Persons confirmed Tuesday the identification of two bodies that were recovered earlier from mass graves in Tarhuna.
It said the identification of the two bodies was confirmed after conducting the DNA tests taken from the victims and comparing them with the samples collected from their relatives.
The commission confirmed the matching of the two cases, which will be forwarded to the Attorney General, and the competent prosecutions, who will inform the families of the results.
With these new cases, the number of victims identified by the laboratories of the General Authority for Research and Identification of Missing Persons rises to 140.
