The General Authority for Endowments and Islamic Affairs has lifted the precautionary measures and restrictions on Mosques, including the physical distancing between worshipers.
The decision stipulated that worshipers can stand feet to feet and shoulder to shoulder as described in the (Sunnah) starting from the Maghreb prayer on Sunday.
Masks, however, will remain mandatory in Mosques, the authorities said, ordering the administrative committees and mosque supervisors to follow up on the implementation of the decision.
