Co-founder of London-based Guernica 37 International Justice Chambers, Toby Cadman, said on Saturday that he has no doubt that commander of Dignity Operation Khalifa Haftar is ultimately accountable for the crimes committed by senior figures in his forces.

He made clear that attempts of Haftar to halt investigations through exploiting relationships with his allies will not succeed.

In an interview with Alnabaa TV, Cadman revealed that they had demanded the ICC Chief Prosecutor in the report submitted to the International Criminal Court to clarify its stance on possessing judicial authority in Libya, noting that a meeting of ICC member countries will take place next December in New York.

Earlier this month, a team of international lawyers submitted evidence to the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court Fatou Bensouda on the violations committed by the forces of Haftar in east Libya.
