China will offer ¥30 million to support relief efforts in Libya following the recent floods that hit the eastern parts of the country.

According to the Chinese International Development Cooperation Agency spokesman, the aid will include tents, blankets, first aid kits, and other needs.

Meanwhile, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning expressed Beijing's readiness to support Libya overcome the ordeal resulting from the floods.

“We are ready to help Libyans overcome the difficulties and rebuild their homes as soon as possible, based on the needs on the ground," the spokeswoman said.
