The head of the Civil Aviation Authority, Mohammed Ashlipak, has discussed with the Italian ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino, lifting the restrictions imposed by the Italian government on Libyan air companies.
On the sidelines of their meeting, the authority presented a visual presentation showing the mechanism of the work program for lifting the air embargo, reviewing the steps taken in implementing the program to enhance civil aviation security.
Buccino expressed his great gratitude and full support for the mechanism that has been accomplished, stressing that he will convey a clear picture to the Italian Civil Aviation Authority.
The two parties also agreed to a visit by the Italian civil aviation technical team to Libya.
