The Director of the Civil Aviation Authority, Mohammed Shlibek, has anticipated the lifting of the European flight ban on Libya in April 2024, as international audits of civil aviation in Libya have yielded mostly positive results.
Shlibek added that Libya will be ready next April to receive European flights, coinciding with the opening of Tripoli International Airport.
He also indicated that several Arab and foreign airlines are ready to resume flights to Libyan airports.
