Civil organizations and institutions in Tripoli denounced the unilateral agreement concluded by the deputy head of the Presidential Council (PC), Ahmed Maiteeq and warlord Khalifa Haftar on the distribution of oil revenues, saying that the later has been accused and involved in shedding the blood of innocent Libyans and destroying their potential.
The organizations said in a statement on Saturday that Maiteeq does not possess any ability to make agreements or understandings related to the capabilities of the Libyans and their finances.
They considered that Maiteeq’s agreement with Haftar comes within the framework of a search for personal gains and a role to continue in power, according to the statement.
