The Criminal Investigation Service has seized a large number of devices and equipment used in mining cryptocurrency at a site in Al-Sarraj area of Tripoli, announcing that all legal measures were taken in this regard.
The agency had previously seized equipment and devices used in bitcoin mining at a site in Dahra area of Tripoli, and took action against the people who were caught at the site, according to GNU’s Ministry of Interior on Friday.
During the past two days, security services seized several sites used for mining cryptocurrency in Tripoli, Misrata and Zliten, and announced the arrest of at least 60 people of Chinese nationality who supervise such sites.
