The security services in Janzour (west of Tripoli) have announced the discovery of a new site using digital currency mining devices illegally.
The Janzour Knights Battalion confirmed, on its Facebook page, on Saturday, that it carried out a wide monitoring and tracking operation that lasted several days, after it was suspected that a site in the district of Janzour was carrying out illegal activity, as it used high-energy devices.
The Battalion indicated that its members and the Internal Security Office found through site inspection equipment used in mining digital currencies, as well as its coolers, which operate using very high voltages.
It confirmed in its statement that the equipment had been seized and that all legal measures had been taken regarding the incident and the case referred to the competent authorities.
