Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah has discussed with the head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, Abdoulaye Bathily, the latest political developments in the country, especially the efforts made to reach the elections.

Dbeibah expressed his full support for the efforts of the UN envoy aimed at bringing together the Libyan parties and developing a road map that leads to holding elections, stressing the importance of holding elections in accordance with fair and impartial laws that reflect the will of the Libyan people.

For his part, Bathily indicated that the UN mission is working to listen and communicate with all political and societal parties in the country, stressing that its role focuses on ensuring stability in Libya by achieving a comprehensive consensus between all parties to reach the stage of stability and hold elections.
