Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah has announced a week-long official holiday to mark Eid al-Fitr, running from Sunday, March 30, to Friday, April 4.
According to Decision No. 132, the holiday will cover the first three days of Eid, in line with Law No. 5 of 2012, while the remaining days will be deducted from employees' annual leave.
Essential services will continue to operate, with workers in these sectors entitled to compensation for their duties during the holiday period.
