The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, and the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, agreed to resume direct flights between Libya and Qatar starting next October, as part of enhancing cooperation in the aviation sector and facilitating travel between the two countries.
During their meeting in Doha on Wednesday, the two parties discussed developments in economic cooperation, investment, and the implementation of joint strategic projects between the two countries in a way that enhances bilateral relations and pushes towards a more effective economic partnership, according to Hakomitna platform on Facebook.
The two sides also exchanged views on regional developments and issues of common interest, as Dbeibah praised Qatar's role in regional mediation, especially in supporting the Palestinian Cause and the Gaza Strip, and he hailed its efforts to alleviate human suffering and promote diplomatic solutions.
