The American "Defense One" website disclosed on Sunday that Russia’s military intervention in Libya to support Haftar in the takeover of Tripoli has made Libya an issue of great concern to republicans and democrats in the congress.
The website clarified in a report that republicans and democrats have submitted bills aimed at clarifying American policy in Libya.
It added that the laws submitted by members of the congress will push Washington to focus on foreign interference and violation of arms embargo, as well as to devise a strategy to counter Russian influence in Libya.
