An armed group loyal to the chief of Dignity Operation, Khalifa Haftar, kidnapped the chief of so-called Encounter-Terrorism Agency, Captain Salama Asbli, in the town of Marj.
Asbli was taken to an unknown destination on charges of dealing with the Deputy Minister of Interior, Faraj Egaim.
Local sources said the armed group, believed to belong to the 106th Battalion led by Khalifa Haftar`s son, had taken over the headquarters of the agency and confiscated all the weapons and equipment inside.
