A Libyan army battalion has managed to arrest four major drug smugglers, after a direct clash with them while they were driving their armored vehicle in the desert.

According to a statement published by the Libyan Army's Moral Guidance Department, the arrested are among the largest drug smugglers of "hallucinogenic nerve tablets."

The statement also indicated that among the smugglers was an Algerian man nicknamed (Don Ronaldo), and were arrested following their ambush while they were waiting to receive a drug shipment.
