An economic report by the South African-based news website "Energy Capital & Power" anticipated rapid growth in African economies.

According to the report, Libya is expected to rank third, following Niger and Senegal, in the projected Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth index for the year 2024, with an estimated increase of 7.5%.

The growth is attributed to the country's expansion of investments in both traditional and renewable energy sectors.
