The State Minister for Communication and Political Affairs, Walid El Lafi, met with the President of the Supreme Council for Amazigh of Libya, Hadi Barqiq, and the Political Office Director of the Council, Zahid Ben Asker.
The parties explored means and initiatives to promote awareness of the Amazigh identity and culture.
Barqiq and Ben Asker expressed their gratitude for El Lafi's efforts to highlight the Amazigh identity in Tripoli's streets during the Amazigh New Year celebration.
