A father and son have been arrested for killing a man in his home in Tripoli.
According to initial reports, the intruders stormed a home in the Fernaj neighborhood and stole more than 70,000 dinars and jewelry after beating two people in the house, including a woman.
The victim succumbed to his injuries after days of the attack, the Interior Ministry confirmed on Saturday.
It stressed that all necessary legal proceedings will be taken against the alleged offenders.
