Firefighters have managed to extinguish a fire that broke out in the Sharara fuel-filling station in the Ben Ashour area of Tripoli.
In a statement Tuesday, the National Safety Authority said their teams were called at 10:00 pm on Monday to reports of a fire at the fuel station.
Reportedly, a customer had just finished filling a 20-gallon fuel container when his vehicle caught fire, causing the driver to sustain injuries. Fortunately, the incident did not result in any damage to the fuel station or passerby.
