Derna Security Directorate has urged citizens to exercise caution due to floodwaters affecting the road leading to the Karsa area, west of Derna.
In a statement Thursday, the Directorate noted that the road to the Karsa area is experiencing large pools of water formed by floods coming from Wadi Marqus and Wadi Al-Mahbool.
Local authorities in the municipality of Susa have evacuated several homes at the city's western entrance due to floods descending from the mountain, occurring late Wednesday into Thursday.
Furthermore, the municipality has urged citizens to remain vigilant, minimize outings, and avoid areas prone to floodwaters to ensure their safety.
