The Air Ambulance Service has struck a deal to purchase three helicopters equipped with cutting-edge technology.
The aircraft, type BELL 429 and BELL 505, will help improve emergency medical services and provide rapid transportation throughout Libya, the flying ambulance stated on Facebook.
"The developed aircraft could provide rapid and effective medical transportation for emergency cases in remote areas, which are difficult for jet planes to reach."
The medical apparatus said the step is of utmost importance to the medical transportation sector and reflects the authority's commitment to improving the services offered to the community.
