Foreign Minister, Taher Al-Baour, met with Palestinian Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Mustafa on Tuesday in Cairo, ahead of the Emergency Arab Summit. The meeting took place on the sidelines of preparatory ministerial talks.
Discussions focused on the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, with both sides emphasizing the urgent need for humanitarian aid deliveries. Libya’s support, including medical convoys and a field hospital, was also reviewed.
Al-Baour reaffirmed Libya’s unwavering support for Palestine and rejected any attempts to displace Palestinians from their land.
Mustafa, in turn, expressed gratitude for Libya’s stance, underscoring the importance of continued coordination in regional and international forums to push for a ceasefire and reconstruction efforts.
