The General Electricity Company of Libya has stated that it had sent equipment for a number of power plants from different regions of the country to the US General Electric (GE) factories for maintenance and rehabilitation.

The company stated on its Facebook page that it had sent four shipments through the Tripoli seaport containing induction plates and spare parts for the combustion chambers of North Benghazi, Al Khums and South Tripoli plants, in order to rehabilitate in preparation for the next spring.
