The German ambassador to Libya, Oliver Owcza, on Tuesday, met with the new Head of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed Menfi, along with his two deputies, Abdullah Al-Lafi and Mousa Al-Kouni.
The meeting covered joint cooperation between both countries in various fields. On the part of the Owcza, he reaffirmed his country’s full support for the outcomes of the Libyan dialogue and the Berlin Conference.
After the meeting, the ambassador praised the eagerness shown by the PC for unity and reconciliation and for supporting the principle of transparency, accountability and preparations for the elections due to be held in December.
