The Minister of Housing and Construction of the Government of National Unity (GNU), Abu Bakr Al-Ghawi, has discussed with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Iranian Embassy in Libya, Ain Allah Souri, issues related to Iranian building materials products in line with the Libyan market, and the participation of Iranian companies in the Libya International Fair.
During the meeting held on Sunday in Tripoli, Al-Ghawi confirmed the government’s position regarding the resumption of the Libyan-Iranian Joint Committee holding its meetings, developing cooperation in the health and technical field, encouraging exports and cooperation in the industrial field, and exchanging official visits.
The meeting also touched on inviting Iranian companies to participate in reconstruction and development projects within the “Return to Life” initiative announced by Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah.
