The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research held talks with the Foreign Ministry on Sunday, focusing on the issue of Libyan students studying abroad.
The meeting took place between Higher Education Minister Imran Al-Qeeb and the Deputy Foreign Minister for Expatriates Affairs, Mohammed Zaidan.
According to the Ministry of Higher Education, the minister was presented with a report detailing efforts by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, particularly concerning students who have not returned from France and Germany.
The report included the results of direct interviews with the students, encouraging them to return to Libya and contribute their expertise. It also addressed the refusal of some students to return, leading to the closure of their cases, with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommending legal actions to be taken by the Ministry of Higher Education.
