Khalifa Haftar has directed the start of implementation of a military city for training in all types of weapons and security sciences, with an area of 5,467 hectares west of the city of Benghazi.

The military city announced by the Media Office of Haftar’s forces will include a seaport equipped with maritime navigation equipment and a military airport, implemented by the Chief of Staff of the security units led by Khaled Khalifa Haftar.

According to the statement, Haftar praised his son Khaled and his supervision of the progress of work “on the huge strategic project, which is the first of its kind in the history of Libya and at the regional and continental levels”, as he said.
