The head of the dialogue committee of the High Council of State (HCS), Moussa Faraj, said Saturday that the HCS is adopting a policy of national consensus, and calls on the House of Representatives to address the political crisis in the country.

In a press statement, Faraj added that the current stage requires a real and effective consensus that ensures the participation of all Libyans in building a civil state.

He further explained that the existing institutions have the responsibility to achieve the required consensus on a national project to achieve stability and perform the constitutional benefits.

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aqila Saleh, had announced earlier that he would accept the invitation addressed to him by the President of the High Council of State, Khaled Al-Mishri, to hold an urgent meeting between the two in order to push the political dialogue forward.
