The Head of the High Council of State (HCS), Muhammad Takkala, on Sunday, held talks with France's Ambassador, Mustafa Maharaj, which focused on the political track in Libya and the outputs of the 6+6 Committee assigned to prepare the legal framework for the planned elections.
Takala received the French ambassador at the Council's headquarters in Tripoli in the presence of the HCS Rapporteur, Belkacem Debrez.
The parties shared views on the political developments, including the 6+6 Committee outputs and ways to create appropriate conditions for conducting free and fair elections.
They also discussed aspects of cooperation in a way that best serves the interests of the two nations.
