The Head of the Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sirraj accredited the Spanish ambassador to Libya Francisco de Miguel in the presence of the Foreign Minister, Mohammed Sayala at the Prime Ministry headquarters in Tripoli.
Miguel said that Spain supports the efforts of the Presidential Council in achieving stability in Libya and that it looks forward to boosting joint relations and cooperation.
Al-Sirraj said he looked forward to the reopening of the Spanish embassy in Tripoli as soon as possible, saying it would have positive effects in improving relations between the two countries.
