The Libyan Embassy in Italy has announced the return of the Libyan citizen Anwar Mohammed Al-Malti, who suffers from behavioral and psychological disorders, to the homeland.

The embassy stated on its Facebook page that this step came based on the instructions of Ambassador Muhannad Younes, and thanks to the efforts of members of the Libyan embassy in Rome and some members of the Libyan community in Naples.

The embassy called on Libyan citizens present in Italy to register with accredited Libyan consulates in Italy in order to follow up on them and provide them with assistance in emergency cases.

The Libyan embassy in Italy formed a committee to follow up on the situation of Al-Malti, after a circulated video on social media showed a Libyan citizen sleeping in the streets of the city of Naples, suffering from a behavioral disorder.
