First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) Fawzi Nuweiri met on Wednesday with the US Chargé d'Affaires, Jeremy Brendt, to discuss developments in Libya and ways to advance the political process.
During the meeting, Nuweiri shared the HoR's perspective on the UN Envoy's initiative aimed at ending the political deadlock.
The HoR spokesman, Abdullah Blaiheg, revealed that the meeting covered all aspects of the crisis, including measures for creating a conducive environment that would enable the holding of presidential and parliamentary elections as soon as possible.
