The International Court of Justice (ICJ), together with the Permanent Mission of the United Nations in the Netherlands and Germany, is to hold an event on 17 March with the theme "accountability for crimes under international law in Libya, challenges and prospects".
The seminar, to be held at the United Nations HQ, will shed light on a series of crimes that are not held to account, for the lack of political stability in Libya and the fragile security environment.
It will also address extra-judicial violations, torture, enforced disappearances, human trafficking and sexual violence.
Meanwhile, a team from UN sanctions committee will visit Libya soon to investigate violations against UN decisions on Libya including killings, torture, abduction, displacement, human trafficking and oil smuggling.
