The International Group for Libya has called on the international community to intervene immediately to save the lives of civilians in the city of Derna by delivering food and medicine and aiding to open safe corridors for the wounded and people with special needs to reach hospitals outside the city.
The group said on Wednesday that if the international community does not halt these violations, then the city will become witness to field executions by the forces of Khalifa Haftar, which have besieged the city and already have committed massacres against innocent people in other cities such as Benghazi.
