The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has repatriated 140 illegal migrants voluntarily to Guiana via Misrata International Airport.
The operation was organized in cooperation with the shelters of Illegal Immigration Agency in Zuwara, Abu Issa in Zawiya and Misrata.
The IOM announced that some 18,000 migrants have been repatriated since the beginning of 2017 from various Libyan airports, the last of which was carried by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees when 129 illegal immigrants were repatriated to Niger on Sunday.
