The Free Zone Administration in Misrata has announced the resumption of work of the Iranian shipping line "IRISL" to the port of the city, through Germa company, the shipping agent for the line.
This came in a ceremony on Thursday, which was attended by Chairman of Free Zone Management Committee, General Manager, Chairman of Management Committee of the Libyan Ports Company, Chairman of Board of Directors of Germa Company, the representative of the Iranian shipping line, and a number of directors of the free zone departments in Misrata.
The first shipment of the Iranian shipping line, which is one of the largest international shipping lines, arrived last Tuesday, at the port of the Free Zone. This will contribute to increasing shipping traffic and transit trade.
