The Italian government, through its foreign minister and deputy prime minister, Antonio Tajani, has reaffirmed that it seeks to restore stability in Libya.

“We are working with the aim of reaching an agreement that makes Libya a stable country, hold elections and draft a new constitution,” the Italian foreign minister added, in Friday radio statements, reported by Nova News Agency.

Tajani pointed out that what is certain in the matter is that the role of the Russian private military group, Wagner, throughout the African continent is a cause for concern, it is a mercenary gang that encourages flight of people and illegal immigration.
