Prime Minister of Italy, Giuseppe Conte, said that all countries concerned with the Libyan crisis confirmed their participation at the highest level in the Palermo conference to be held later this November.
Conte told reporters at a press conference in Tunisia that the French President Emmanuel Macron has ensured that France will devote the utmost attention to the conference, describing the French support a key for the Palermo conference, according to the Italian news agency Aki.
Conte pointed out that the consolidating of institutions and economic development in Libya will only progress through a UN-led process of a full dialogue and comprehensive reconciliation, which respects the specific nature of the Libyan people.
