Italy has approved the former minister, Muhannad Younis, as Libya's ambassador to Italy.
The decision was issued on Monday by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to the Italian AKI news agency.
Muhannad Younis held the position of spokesperson for the former Government of National Accord, and its Minister of State for the Families of the Martyrs, Wounded and the Missing Affairs.
