Italian Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte, affirmed on Friday his country's support for the UN efforts to spare Tripoli and its people more suffering.

During his meeting with the head of the UN mission in Libya, Ghassan Salame, on the recent field and diplomatic developments in Libya, Conte insisted on the need to find a peaceful solution to the aggression against Tripoli.
