The Italian ambassador Giuseppe Perrone said Friday that if there is unified armed forces in Libya, there will be a sustained stability in the country.
Perrone added at the Rome-hosted Mediterranean Dialogue that his country aims to support reconciliation in Libya in both political and military levels, adding that Libya is still going through recurrent military conflicts despite the political process that is going on under the auspices of the UN and the international community.
He added that military leaders did not partake in the national dialogue and the political dialogue was incompletely implemented.
