Japan has affirmed its support for all efforts that contribute to holding the Libyan elections and enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
This came during a meeting with Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Japan to Libya, Masaaki Amadera, with a member of the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, according to a statement by the Media Office of the Presidential Council.
Amadera praised the Presidential Council efforts aimed at achieving stability and the success of the national reconciliation project.
For his part, Al-Koni stressed the importance of the Libyan-Japanese relations and the need to develop them in many fields, especially the economy, technology and education.
