Renegade General Khalifa Haftar issued a decree on Tuesday, banning the importation of four wheel drive SUVs in the public or private sector, including any individuals that do not possess the consent of what is known as “the General Command”.
Haftar explained his decision by stating that only in this way will the supplier be known and the purpose for which these vehicles were imported, according to the text of the resolution published by so-called the Information Office of General Command.
