The Support Stability Apparatus has announced the arrest of three individuals belonging to a criminal gang involved in drug trafficking.
According to the apparatus, the gang transports narcotics from the cities of Zintan and Tobruk to the capital, Tripoli, using vehicles specifically adapted for this illegal activity.
In a Facebook statement, the Support Stability Apparatus said the operation was conducted by the Investigations and Evidence Collection Department, which orchestrated a planned ambush for a buying and selling transaction. The individuals were intercepted while transporting a suspected quantity of 80 kilograms of cannabis.
The offenders have been subjected to necessary legal procedures and referred to the public
