Libya, Austria review relations
Chairman of the Presidential Council Fayaz Al-Sarraj received Monday the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Libya Donald Sturm and the commercial adviser at the embassy at the headquarters of the Council in Tripoli.
The ambassador handed Al-Sarraj a letter from the Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, stressing his country's support for the Presidential Council and the path of consensus, according to the press office of Al- Sarraj.
He also emphasized that Austria is looking forward to developing bilateral relations with Libya, commending the security conditions in the capital Tripoli.
The meeting also discussed prospects and areas of cooperation between the two countries and the willingness of major Austrian companies to return to Libya.
