The Libyan volleyball team won the gold medal o the Arab Games 2023 after beating the host Algerian team in the final match 3-0: (31-29, 25-18 25-17).
The Libyan team qualified for the final match after defeating Qatar's team in the semi-finals, 3-0. It achieved five wins in the Arabian Games: Qatari team twice, the Algerian national team, the Palestinian and the Jordanian teams. Libya lost one match against Algeria in the first round.
