Libyan authorities have deported a group of undocumented migrants from Niger via the Al-Toum land border crossing, as part of ongoing efforts to manage irregular migration.
According to the Ministry of Interior, the operation was conducted in coordination with the Nigerien embassy, following legal procedures for their removal from Libyan territory.
The repatriation took place in the presence of Nigerien diplomatic representatives and was supported by security directorates across central, eastern, and southern Libya to ensure a smooth process.
The Interior Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to carrying out deportations in line with legal frameworks while working with relevant authorities to uphold humanitarian and security standards.
