Libya's national football team will play a very important match against Benin on Monday at Tripoli International Stadium to secure a ticket to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
The team began training immediately upon arrival from Kigali after facing Rwanda, where it revived its hopes of qualifying with a hard-fought victory against the host.
Libya is looking to get the ticket out of the Benin match with a win to qualify for AFCON for the fourth time, and then wait for what happens in the result of the Nigeria and Rwanda match, as a draw or loss for Rwanda against Nigeria will give the Knights a ticket to Morocco 2025.
It is noteworthy that the Nigerian team leads Group Four with 11 points, followed by Benin with 7 points, Rwanda third with 5 points, while Libya is in last place with 4 points.
